The days of winter....

Winter is still here. It's cold outside and it has been raining the last few days. I have wanted to take the time to wrap a blanket around me, turn up the heater, drink some hot cocoa and relax.

While I was relaxing, I decided to create a whole new look a feel to my scarves. I wanted to create a new line so I thought about what women want in a scarf. I started with myself. I liked the idea of blending a shawl, scarf and wrap all together in one. So I came up with an ultra long and thick scarf.

Then I thought, I am tired of the same old run of the mill design, so I added more detail with a checker pattern.

I am also working a rust colored scarf with an interesting design. Keep reading the post for when that one will be available.

For all of you out there, stay warm and dry. I hope that I can do my part in helping you do so.

Summer Selections: Flower Hair clips

Flowers remind me of the Spring and they flow right into Summer. When Summer is over the flowers still do not go out of style. The brown colors are perfect for those seeking a more natural look.

Summer Selections: Hair bows everywhere...

Another wonderful selection for Summer items are the hair bows. Each hair bow is handknitted and attached to an alligator clip. The alligator clip makes them easy to fit onto any hair type. The thing that is beautiful about hair bows is that they look beautiful on a big girl or a little one. I love to wear bows myself. Check out all the bows Virtue Knits has to offer. With the bows, I create for Summer I try to be sure that I use lots of bright colors to make them stand out.

Summer selections: Summer purses...

My goal with this blog is to have a different and unique feature once a week or every other week. This week I will be discussing my Summer line of knit wear. I have often heard the comment, "Knits are for winter." This week, I will be featuring all of the lovely items that work wonderfully in any summer wardrobe.
The purses that I make are each handmade with a unique lining inside. The purses are are made with 100% cotton yarn, making them lightweight. My summer line of purses are also made with bright colors. I have included my newest purses. Take a moment to tell me which is your favorite and why. This will help me provide the type of items that my customers are looking for.
